judo
Atlas Grappling Judo is run by Judo black belts, Christopher Sakoda , Lukas Seone-Scheitermaier, and Ranson Shepherd. While respecting the Martial Arts traditions that Judokas worldwide are proud of, our program is evolving the way that Judo is taught and trained to be safer and more sustainable.
Our USA Judo chartered club competes any chance they get and the competition team is already making waves.

youth judo
The youth program for kids 8 years old and up, runs concurrently with the adult program at Atlas. Our sensei, Lukas Seone-Scheitermaier, has trained multiple martials arts since childhood and is proud to share his Judo knowledge with the next generation. Finding a young Judo black belt that instructs regularly is rare in Judo and we are proud to have Lukas lead the kids. Training Judo is great for developing discipline, balance, coordination, and problem-solving skills. It is also a valuable addition to other sports training, like Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, football, and hockey.

adult judo
Judo is one of the more traditional grappling martial arts. Black belt coaches Chris Sakoda and Ranson Shepherd share this traditional martial art with teen an adult students in a relaxed, thorough, and detail-oriented way htat emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving. Coaches can apply their own skills on the mats as well as articulate instruction in a casual and understanding format.
Adults in this class do not need to compete, but the Judo Team at Atlas grappling often makes it's way to tournaments in the Southwest USA.
