Meet the Owners
Damien and Beth Nitkin are the proud owners and operators of Atlas Grappling.

Damien, a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has been practicing since 2009 and brings over a decade of coaching experience in both youth and adult programs. His passion for Jiu-Jitsu is unmatched—he eats, breathes, and lives the art every day. He also trains Wrestling and Judo.

In 2015, Damien introduced Beth to Jiu-Jitsu, sparking a shared passion that would become the foundation of Atlas Grappling. Beth, a Pediatric ICU Nurse by profession, now dedicates much of her time to the gym, helping create the family-oriented atmosphere that sets Atlas apart. Their children, Atlas and Apollo, are a constant presence on the mats—truly growing up in the world of martial arts.

Our Philosophy
At Atlas Grappling Las Vegas, we believe Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling are more than just physical activities—they are paths to personal transformation.

Damien and Beth’s lives were forever changed through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the mentorship of their coach, Ranson Shepherd. That inspiration drives their mission today: to share the friendship, growth, and life-changing benefits that Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts have brought into their own lives with every member of the Atlas Grappling community.
